Entertainment

• Search interest for Look-alike contests hit an all-time high after Timothee Chalamet’s look-alike contest and went up +1,200%, past month in the US. Dev Patel ist the top searched name in connection with look-alike contests in the past day

• John Krasinki is among the top trending people today and surged +550% 

• “john krasinski brothers” and “sexiest man alive 2024 nominees” are breakout searches, past day 

Lifestyle

• “what is skiplagging on an airplane” is a breakout search, past day 

• “ski trip outfits” is a breakout search and “erin andrews outfit” doubled, past day

• “white christmas tree inspo” more than doubled (+130%), past day 

Sports

• “where will the rays play next year” is a breakout question, past day

• Klay Thompson spiked +550% and “why did klay leave golden state” is a related breakout search, past day

• Ahead of their fight, Mike Tyson is searched +60% more than Jake Paul, past 7 days

Highlights of the Month

New York Liberty reached an all-time high in October 2024

• The New York Liberty won their first championship in franchise history in October, defeating the Minnesota Lynx in a WNBA Finals that was searched more than ever before. People were searching for the championship celebration, as “ny liberty ticker tape parade” was a breakout search in the US during the month.

“nfl trade deadline” spiked +1,950% in the US

• Michigan was the top state searching for the “nfl trade deadline” in October as the Detroit Lions looked to fill the hole left by the injured Aidan Hutchinson. Cooper Kupp was the top trending player related to the NFL trade deadline, although the Los Angeles Rams ultimately decided to keep their star wide receiver.

“NWSL Playoffs” more than doubled in search interest in the US

• October saw NWSL teams race to secure their spot in the 8-team playoffs that will take place in November. People were keeping an eye on the expansion team from the West Coast, with “bay fc standings” being a breakout search during the month. The club became just the second NWSL expansion team to make the playoffs in their inaugural season when they secured the 7-seed for the postseason.

• “timberwolves vs lakers” was the top searched NBA matchup in the US this October, followed by  “suns vs lakers” and “celtics vs nuggets”

• Trending searches on LeBron and Bronny included “lebron and bronny playing together” and “when did lebron have bronny”
